In modern construction and renovation projects, structural and time constraints frequently arise – such as low load-bearing capacity of floors, limited floor height, or inability to allow for extended screed curing time.

EPS ALU FC panels were designed with such situations in mind. Applied in screedless underfloor heating systems, they enable rapid installation and almost immediate system commissioning, while simultaneously minimizing additional floor loading. They prove effective in retrofit and renovations, where time is crucial, maintaining lightweight floor construction and enabling continuation of finishing works without delays. 

Key Innovation – Increased efficiency 

The advantage of EPS ALU FC lies in its complete aluminum coating – the heating pipe is encased by aluminum from the sides and bottom. Full aluminum coverage ensures that the pipe contacts the heat distributor from every side, significantly increasing the heat exchange surface area compared to standard EPS ALU panels, where grooves are covered only on the sides, ultimately reducing internal groove coverage (this difference is visible in the graphic below). Installation based on EPS ALU FC panels reaches target temperature faster and maintains it efficiently. Additionally, it ensures uniform heat distribution throughout the room and rapid response to temperature changes. 

Technical parameters and configuration flexibility 

EPS ALU FC is a line of panels for underfloor heating in dry installation systems – without screed. It enables underfloor heating installation everywhere where traditional screed is impossible to apply. A single panel weighs starts from 920 grams, making it exceptionally lightweight and convenient for transport and installation – particularly when modernization takes place on upper floors. Available thickness variants from 20 to 50 mm allow panel adaptation both for locations with limited floor height and projects requiring better thermal insulation. Pipe spacing from 125 to 250 mm ensures design flexibility – greater groove density allows for faster thermal response, while reduced density enables material savings while maintaining optimal parameters. Different panel densities (EPS 300 and 400) provide the possibility to adjust panel parametres to structural requirements.
