Filter with magnetic dirt separator and shut-off valves
The magnetic dirt separator filter is designed for closed-loop central heating systems to efficiently capture and retain particulate impurities, including ferromagnetic debris, enabling maintenance and removal without the need to shut down the system.
What is this product?
Devices of this type separate impurities in closed central heating systems, mainly sand and rust particles, while generating very low pressure losses. The impurities are collected in a large-capacity chamber, which reduces the frequency of cleaning. Their removal can be carried out during the normal operation of the system. The version with a magnet is designed to separate ferromagnetic compounds from the system.
Application
This product is used in closed central heating systems where the removal of impurities is essential for maintaining the efficiency of heating components such as boilers, pumps, and heat exchangers. It is typically installed on the return line to protect downstream elements from damage and system failures.
Advantages
- effective separation of mechanical and ferromagnetic impurities
- large contamination chamber capacity reduces cleaning frequency
- filter can be cleaned without shutting down the system, thanks to integrated shut-off valves
- prolongs the service life of system components and enhances heating performance
