Pipe calibrator
What is the product?
A pipe calibrator is a tool used to accurately reproduce the cylindrical shape of the pipe at the point of cutting and precisely chamfer the edges to ensure correct and tight seating of compression fittings.
Application
Regular use of the calibrator in daily work eliminates deformation and damage to the pipe surface caused by cutting. By precisely restoring the circular cross-section and properly chamfering the edges, the installer can ensure the proper seating of the compression fitting, which prevents damage to the sealing O-ring. Such preparation of the pipe reduces the risk of leaks in the connection. The calibrator is designed for use with multilayer and homogeneous pipes made of polyethylene (PE).
