PS SUPERNOVA is a line of castellated mats, manufactured using a thermoforming process, designed for the installation of water-based underfloor heating in wet (screed) systems.

What is the product?

PS SUPERNOVA is a line of castellated mats, produced by thermoforming, designed for the installation of underfloor water heating in wet (poured concrete) systems. The mats are made of polystyrene (PS) and feature a design with numerous tabs that secure the heating pipes without the need for staples.

Application

PS SUPERNOVA supports pipe routing at 90° and 45° angles, offering flexibility in installation layout. Numerous studs enable the arrangement of heating loops at 5, 6, or 7.5 cm intervals (for pipe diameters of 12, 14, or 16 mm), maintaining the required spacing between them.

SUPERNOVA mats are also available in a version with adhesive, ensuring stable adhesion of the mat to the substrate.

Transportation and packaging

PS SUPERNOVA boards are provided:

In individual packages (cardboard boxes) – 14 pieces each, dimensions: 1480 x 880 x 275 cm,
On pallets – 154 pcs. – dimensions: 1500 x 900 x 2200 cm.

Waste disposal

Dispose of used or damaged PS SUPERNOVA mats in accordance with applicable waste management regulations. Due to the materials used in the product, it is recommended that it be taken to a selective waste collection point or a specialized recycling facility. Proper disposal allows recovery of raw materials and minimizes the negative impact on the environment. Under no circumstances should the mat be disposed of in municipal waste.
